YONA Overview: YONA is a unity, revival, and outreach movement with the primary mission of evangelism. We exist to reach as many young adults as possible through an engaging experience that unites the church and ignites a passion for Christ within this generation.
Position Overview: As YONA’s Content Creator Intern, you will play a vital role in producing high- quality, diverse content across various platforms. This role involves collaborating with our creative team to bring ideas to life through written, visual, and multimedia content. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation and contribute to telling YONA’s story through social media. As a member of the YONA team, you will be expected to complete any and all duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
Assist in the creation of written content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
Contribute to the planning and execution of multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and graphics.
Social Media Management:
Assist in curating and scheduling content for our social media platforms to enhance YONA’s visibility.
Monitor social media trends and engage with our audience to enhance YONA’s online presence.
Research and Ideation:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, values, and messaging.
Work closely with the creative team to maintain a consistent and cohesive brand identity.
Qualifications:
Loves Jesus and people.
Pursuing a degree or career in Communications, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus. Willingness to learn and develop skills.
